Introduction to QuickBooks for Self-Employed Life Care Planners

This webinar will present an introduction QuickBooks for Life Care Plan Experts looking to organize or streamline their accounts receivables and accounts payables. Many clients are now asking to pay online. Do you have that capability? QuickBooks has that feature if you know how to enable it! Are you categorizing your retainers correctly so you are not paying unnecessary taxes? Come learn how to set up professional templates and create, edit, and send invoices electronically. (Ms. Coffman has no financial interest in QuickBooks.)

  1. Life care plan experts will learn how to add a new payee, send invoices, and accept credit card payments within the QuickBooks platform.
  2. Life care plan experts will learn how to input payments (accounts receivables) within the QuickBooks platform.
  3. Life care plan experts will learn how to link their banking account to their QuickBooks account to categorize accounts payable for bookkeeping purposes.

Misty Coffman, RN, MSCC, CNLCP, President and Owner of Arizona Medical-Legal Consulting, LLC has been self-employed and using Quickbooks since 1999. Ms. Coffman utilizes Quickbooks in her consulting practice to invoice clients and track accounts payable and accounts receivables. Quickbooks enables her to streamline her bookkeeping services and communicate more effectively with the company accountant. She does not claim to be a “Quickbooks expert,” but she does utilize the platform on a daily basis and understands how it makes running the “business” side of a LCP business more efficient once basic concepts are understood.
