Samples For Success
Description:
Empowering readers facing similar experiences, Samples for Success provides background information and things to consider about injury, disease process or associated litigation. This resource is for new and experienced life care planners faced with writing a plan for an injury or illness that is unfamiliar.
Editorial Review:
Developing a sound, evidence-based plan may seem like a daunting task, but it doesn’t have to be. In this first edition of “Samples for Success: Life Care Plans from Practicing Life Care Planners,” readers can access over nine different injury or illness categories.
The author doesn’t provide just one sample, but rather 25 redacted life care plans by practicing life care planning professionals. New life care planners as well as the experienced will find this book to be an invaluable asset to their life care planning practices.
In addition to complete sample life care plans, contributors candidly share the emotional highs and lows of litigation. With stories of limited access to the injured party to the “kick-me” moments of testimony, this book shares the in-the-trenches experiences of the life care planner associated with each case.
To top it off, readers have access to 10 Curricula Vitae (CV) examples provided by each contributor and a plethora of research references and resources.

Our Services: As medical literature research specialists, we can provide any level of support based on your needs . . . from a single journal article . . . to comprehensive published research to support your project or case. Our expertise covers the full range of clinical medicine and healthcare management, including standards of care, outcomes data, and developing therapeutic approaches.
Our clients: We serve a broad range of clients, including medical education companies, drug and medical device companies, non-profit professional organizations, consulting services, law offices, and freelance medical writers. In addition, we had an opportunity to work with the EPA on a 7-year fact-finding project to identify the documented human health effects of 18 hazardous substances in children.
Win Dawson: As the firm’s director, I have an M.A. in Health Education and my background includes experience as a researcher, writer, educator, and nurse . . . as well as contract research work in pharmacology and alternative medicine. Concurrent to my research work at MedSearch, I also served as the Research Editor for a pain management website for 6 years.
Serving your needs: To initiate a literature research project, you can reach us by phone or send an email outlining your specific needs or questions. Together we can easily identify if MedSearch is a good match for your project needs.
When journal articles are needed (or book chapters and meeting abstracts), simply send an email to medsearch@mind.net with the full citation(s) and your requested turnaround time. We will reply with a cost estimate. We will locate documents from anywhere in the world . . . not just from one library collection.
Costs: We have always prided ourselves in providing the best possible service at the most affordable cost. We are pleased to offer member-consultants of AANLCP our hourly rates for non-profit organizations, which are our lowest and represent a 19% savings off our standard hourly rate.
