Research Committee
The Research Committee supports the advancement of evidence-based practice in nurse life care planning by encouraging and promoting research within the profession.
This committee works to identify important research topics relevant to life care planning and helps foster the development of studies that contribute to the body of knowledge supporting the profession. By promoting research initiatives and encouraging member participation, the committee helps strengthen the credibility, methodology, and future growth of nurse life care planning.
Responsibilities of the Research Committee may include encouraging research collaboration among members, identifying priority areas for study, supporting members interested in conducting research, and helping share research findings with the AANLCP community. The committee may also assist in connecting research efforts with educational programming and the Journal of Nurse Life Care Planning to ensure valuable insights are shared with the profession.
Serving on the Research Committee is an excellent opportunity for members who are interested in contributing to the scientific and professional development of life care planning through research, data, and evidence-based practice.
