Mentorship Committee

The Mentorship Committee supports the professional growth and development of AANLCP members by fostering meaningful connections between experienced nurse life care planners and those who are newer to the field.

This committee oversees the AANLCP Mentorship Program, which is designed to provide guidance, encouragement, and practical insight to members seeking to strengthen their skills, expand their knowledge, and build confidence in their life care planning practice. By connecting mentors and mentees, the committee helps cultivate a supportive professional community where members can learn from one another’s experience.

Responsibilities of the Mentorship Committee include developing and maintaining the mentorship program, matching mentors with mentees, providing structure and resources to support successful mentorship relationships, and encouraging participation among members at all stages of their careers. The committee also works to ensure that both mentors and mentees benefit from the program through clear expectations and ongoing support.

Serving on the Mentorship Committee is an excellent opportunity for members who are passionate about supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge, and helping strengthen the future of the nurse life care planning profession.
