NANDA-I is publishing the 13th edition of Nursing Diagnoses Definitions and Classification 2024-2026 in 2024. This presentation will outline changes in NANDA-I’s updated publication, review the nursing process and methods for incorporating nursing diagnoses in nurse life care plans, and identify resources for support of nursing outcomes and interventions.

• Attendees will be able to identify new, revised, and retired nursing diagnoses.
• Attendees will be able to define “nursing diagnosis” and describe how to utilize one, or more, in a life care plan.
• Attendees will be able to identify two resources addressing nursing outcomes and interventions.
